"By creating Landguys.net I have been able to combine two of my passions, real estate and the outdoors. My business is to provide seasoned advice and professional service to ensure that my clients receive the sound investment or dream property they seek. Working with other sportsmen gives me an opportunity to have a hand in conserving our precious waters and wild places. By sharing my client's love and passions for the outdoors, I am qualified to assist in each aspect of their recreational property ownership. The same detail, commitment, and passion I have for bow hunting has carried over into my everyday business ethics. I support other conservation methods through my sponsorships/memberships in the Safari Club International, Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, Whitetails Unlimited, National Wild Turkey Federation, Ducks Unlimited, and Pheasants Forever. "

Scott is a Field Expert for Ole Tom Gobbler.

My name is Mark Beck, I live on my 500 acre farm near Petersburg, IL along the Sangamon River. "I was born and raised in Central Illinois and have been an avid outdoorsman my entire life. I am a licensed real estate agent working for Aspen Real Estate. I specialize in helping my clients buy and sell recreational land in Illinois. Personally, I have bought and sold over 2,000 acres of farmland and converted most to recreational land for hunters and nature lovers. As the Co-Founder of a seeding supply company, I have helped restore several thousand acres across the state by planting over 3 million sevedlings and planting hundreds of acres of prairie grasses. During this process, I have consulted with numerous landowners in determining which conservation programs would be best for their operation. I spend all of my spare time in the fall hunting white-tailed deer, waterfowl, upland game, elk, caribou, black bear, and moose. I am honored to have become good friends with nationally known whitetail expert Stan Potts. My knowledge of recreational property has been greatly enhanced from this relationship."

“Whether it is managing an archery pro shop, or managing farms for mature trophy whitetails, I know the day in, day out commitment and determination it takes to be successful! Dedication to my work is what I have come to be known for. Just as I would meticulously hunt a specific trophy whitetail, I use the same persistence to find that “perfect” property or the right buyer for my clients.” My name is Andrew Strow and I was born and raised in the “heartland” of Central Illinois. My love for the outdoors is second to none, and my passion for bow hunting is just as impressive. I have been affiliated with the archery industry for nearly half my life and have been on several pro hunting and shooting staffs. My insight and expertise in the bow hunting industry gives me an edge when it comes to locating or selling that “ideal” farm. If investment is my client’s interest, being a licensed realtor, I have the knowledge and resources to help make professionally informed and prosperous decisions towards the buying and selling process.

Andrew also manages Two Bears Custom Archery in Springfield, IL. In addition, Andrew has volunteered his time to help the following organizations: Boy Scouts of America, Ray Howell’s inner city Kicking Bear ranch, local 4-H groups, National Archery in the Schools Program, Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, National Wild Turkey Federation, and Great Shot hunter education programs.

Having spent my entire life in Fulton County, it is only natural that I have been pursuing Whitetails, Waterfowl, Upland Birds and Sport Fish since I was eight years old. During those years, the most important lesson learned is that there is only one thing more important than how you chase your game, and that is where you chase it. My name is Scott Strode, and it is my goal to give others the opportunity to make their own pursuits successful.

Dating back to the 1960’s, my family has bought, developed and sold thousands of acres of land in Fulton County. In addition, my father spent the majority of his career as a land agent for the local coal mines. In a sense, I have been around land deals since day one. Because of that, I know that the only way a land transaction can be successful is if all parties are satisfied. Whether is it finding a dream property for someone or finding the best buyer possible for a landowner, my goal is to provide that satisfaction.

Aspen Real Estate Co and Land Guys have given me the opportunity to combine my experience and passion into helping others while making sure they receive the best service possible. If you are interesting in selling or buying land in West Central Illinois, please give me a call.

In addition to being a faithful supporter of Ducks Unlimited and The Spoon River Chapter of Quail and Pheasants Forever, Scott is the co-owner of Fulton County Outdoors and host of the weekly Fulton County Outdoors radio show.
